Fat Ass 50k

The 50k will start at 8:00 am January 26, 2013
Like most fat ass events, there will be no fees, no awards, no t-shirts and no whining.
We do plan to have some minimal
aid out there at a couple of points. Water bottles or belts are required
along with a food pack.
Also, it's possible that there will be no one at the finish line when you finish.
However, last year folks brought some snacks for the finish which was very
nice.
It will be conducted on the All American
Trail near Fort Bragg, NC

There is a very small parking lot at the Raeford/Vass Rd.
trailhead. Please carpool if you can.
You cannot park on the
shoulder of the road on military
property, your car will be towed.
We plan to have a finishers sheet at start/finish area so when you get through,
fill in your time and distance for the results.
We are starting at the Raeford/Vass Rd.
parking lot and
running to the 21.5 mile marker in Moore County and then back for about 32 miles
total.
The trail is marked every 1/2 mile so you
may run as much or as little as you like. It's an out and back course.
There are no really "major" hills and you need to be
prepared to be on your own at points.
