The 50k (31.08 Miles) will start at 8:00 am January
Like most FA events, there will be no fees, no awards, no t-shirts and no whining. It is not a organized race and every person is responsible for their own safety. It is not a timed event. The event will be conducted rain or shine, hot or cold. Monetary donations are not required but gladly excepted to offset the cost of renting the camp. The Mangum Track Club will be paying for the camp rental and USAT&F insurance and any permits required.
We will have an aid station at the start/finish area and at the 5.75 mile mark on the course. Water bottles or belts are still required along with a food pack.
This is also a pot-luck event. Everyone is encouraged to bring food and drinks for the finish to share with others.
The camp has nice bunk style cabins that have heat and air, bathrooms and showers and can be rented for $15.00 per person. Tent camping is also permitted on the property. Keith Russell is the contact person for the lodging and should be contacted here via email email@example.com
